weBoost Launches Seize the Bar Campaign with “The King of Random”

ST. GEORGE, Utah–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Stop suffering from spotty cell signals! weBoost®, the global leader in cellular signal boosters, is on a mission to delete the overused phrase “How is my signal now?” from consumers’ vocabulary. Today, the company launches its Seize the Bar™ campaign to educate, empower and engage consumers dealing with the common occurrence of an unreliable signal and its effects on business and personal relationships.

As part of the campaign, weBoost has partnered with Grant Thompson, known on YouTube as “The King of Random,” to produce tailored content that will provide consumers with the resources they need to take action. Known for providing ingenious “life hacks,” Thompson’s constant quest for discovery and “seize the day” mentality made him an obvious partner for the campaign, said Jamie Elgie, chief marketing officer at weBoost.

“Poor cellular signal is a problem that afflicts many, but lacks a clear solution. With Seize the Bar, we plan to erase this common frustration from consumers’ lives,” said Elgie. “Today, we kick off our campaign and partnership with Grant Thompson to challenge consumers to take control of the situation. We intend to drive enthusiasm not only for weBoost products, but the cellular signal booster category as a whole.”

Seize the Bar leverages Thompson’s YouTube audience of more than 4 million followers to deliver educational, entertaining and visual content to consumers. Thompson unveiled today the informative video “10 Cell Phone Life Hacks” to formally kick off the campaign. From using a cell phone to map signal “sweet spots” and locate the nearest cell tower, to installing a weBoost product, Thompson’s video arms consumers with useful tips and tricks to combat these barriers and Seize the Bar.

weBoost is offering 20 percent off weBoost cell phone signal boosters now through September 4. Simply enter the coupon code “48hrskingofrandom” at checkout. On September 8, viewers in the United States and Canada will want to tune in to Grant’s channel for a chance to win free weBoost home and vehicle products. weBoost is also partnering with its large network of resellers and distributors to help their customers Seize the Bar. With special deals and a diverse product lineup, weBoost resellers will be better equipped to provide their customers with better cell signal.

weBoost signal boosters provide cellular connectivity to the car, home, office, workplace and machines. The products are carrier agnostic and FCC and Industry Canada certified, enhance 3G and 4G signals, and improve transmission and communication speeds. weBoost unveiled three new products in June, the Drive 4G-X, RV-4G and Flat Cable, to bring vacationers and homeowners reliable cell signal on the road during the summer travel season.

weBoost’s Seize the Bar campaign will continue throughout the year with additional seasonal activities. For more information on Seize the Bar, please visit www.weboost.com or follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
