weBoost Names Three to Key Consumer Sales Roles

David Wenning joins the company as Director of Consumer Sales for the Americas, Jon Peckman and Bruce Baumhardt as National Account Managers
ST. GEORGE, Utah—March 5, 2015 — weBoost® (www.weboost.com), the global leader in cellular signal boosters formerly known as Wilson Electronics, has filled three senior sales positions in the company’s Consumer Solutions business unit.
David Wenning has joined the weBoost team as Director of Consumer Sales for the Americas. Jon Peckman and Bruce Baumhardt have joined the company, each with the title of National Account Manager.

Bringing more than 25 years of successful consumer electronics sales and sales management expertise to his new position, Wenning has held a variety of senior sales management roles in his career, most recently serving as Vice President of North American Sales at Pole Star USA, a leading provider of indoor positioning and location-based technologies. His previous positions include senior sales and sales management roles at TomTom, Palm and Apple.
Peckman most recently was the Director of Sales for the North America Portable Navigation Device business unit at Garmin USA where he managed triple digit hyper-growth in the GPS category, and then later experienced the smartphone supplant the PND as the preferred navigation device of consumers. Peckman’s previous positions include positions at major brands like Keebler, Coca-Cola and the Warner Lambert division of Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. He brings a keen understanding of the importance that evolving smartphone technology plays in the market.
Baumhardt brings 20 years’ experience in building strategic partnerships with major consumer channel partners to weBoost. His previous positions include National Sales Manager for Channel Development at HERE, a division of Nokia that handles mapping and location, and Senior Director National Accounts for DIRECTV where he launched the category at retail with key customers such as Best Buy, Amazon, Costco, and Walmart.
