Are you planning a road trip through Colorado? Where are places to visit in the Colorado Rockies?
In this video, Dan and Suzen from MileHi ATV share the history of Georgetown, Colorado and why they think Georgetown is a special place for people to come and visit.
The historic town of Georgetown sits in the Colorado Rockies, just west of Denver, Colorado. It started out as a silver mining camp along Clear Creek and was established during the gold rush in 1859.
One of the most iconic parts of the town is the Historic Georgetown Loop Railroad, which was built in 1884, and reopened to the public in 1984. The Georgetown Loop was one of Colorado’s first visitor attractions, and was considered an engineering marvel in its time. If you visit the Georgetown Loop Railroad today, you’ll be greeted by friendly staff in period costumes who are happy to talk about the history of Georgetown, Colorado.

Although Dan and Suzen love living in a secluded area like Georgetown, their commute to and from the office can be hard because cell reception is poor. They use a cell phone booster called the Drive 4G-X to stay in touch with each other in case of emergencies.
